The Kanch Mandir is a popular Jain temple in Indore. The walls of the temple depict scenes from hell. Its popularity however can be attributed to the buzzing markets around its premises. For instance, Khajuri Bazaar is stacked with gold and silver items and leather goods in traditional; designs. The Sarafa Bazaar is famous with tourists and locals alike for its variety of snacks and eating joints. The Kasera Bazaar, on the other side, specializes in metal work and artifacts. The Lal Bagh Palace is to a large extent an attempted replica of the Buckingham palace. Its sprawling manicured gardens give the Palace an English county mansion feel. It was built in 1886. You can visit the century old palace on your tour to Indore.
