Day 1 (Wednesday): Mumbai
Board the Deccan Odyssey Luxury Train at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (Victoria Terminal), Mumbai in the evening to begin your 8 day long luxurious journey through the states of Maharashtra and Goa.
Day 2 (Thursday): Jaigad - Ganapatipule - Ratnagiri - Bhatye Beach
Arrive at the Bhoke Station; board the AC luxury bus for a short ride to the Rai Bhatgaon Jetty. Journey through the backwaters of Maharashtra to reach Jaigad Jetty and visit the Jaigad Fort atop the cliff. Next, head for Ganapatipule on bus. Go on a sightseeing tour of the Ganapatipule temple, beaches, fruit orchards. Have lunch at Ganapatipule and board the AC luxury bus to Ratnagiri. Day 3 (Friday): Sindhudurg - Tarkarli - Sawantwadi
Arrive at the Sindhudurg Nagari Railway Station; board the AC luxury bus to Malvan Jetty. Arrive at the Sindhudurg Fort/ Ocean Fort of Sindhudurg and go on a sightseeing tour of the fort and the Bhavani, Mahadeo, Jarimari, Mahapurush and Shivaji temples within the complex. Board the AC luxury bus to Tarkarli Jetty. Have lunch at the MTDC beach resort, Tarkarli Beach. Post lunch take a boat ride, through the Tarkarli creek, to Kalse Jetty. Board the AC luxury bus to heritage destination of Sawantwadi. Visit the Chitar Ali garden, Jagannathrao Bhosale Garden and Shilpa Gram. Return to the Deccan Odyssey for a traditional dinner en route to the next destination.
Day 4 - (Saturday): Goa
Arrive at Madgaon Station, Goa and head for a sightseeing tour. Visit Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral and the Church of St. Francis of Assissi in Old Goa; Archbishop palaces, forts and churches in Panjim, capital of Goa. Have lunch and move to Dona Paula, a popular beach destination. Visit the Fontanhas, palaces and churches at Panjim. Return to Madgaon Station on the AC luxury bus; dinner aboard the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 5 (Sunday): Pune
Arrive at Pune station, have breakfast on board the Deccan Odyssey. Go on a sightseeing tour of Phule Mandai (old central market), Raja Kelkar Museum, David Synagogue and Rajneesh/ Osho Ashram. Lunch at Hotel Le Meridien followed by a visit to the Tribal Museum. Board the luxury bus to Aga Khan Palace and visit the Kasturba Gandhi and Mahatma Gandhi memorials. Attend the light and sound show at the Shabiwarwada Palace in the evening. Dinner on board the Deccan Odyssey as you move to the next destination.
Day 6 (Monday): Aurangabad - Ellora Caves
Arrive at Aurangabad station, have breakfast on board the Deccan Odyssey. Board the AC luxury bus to visit the Fort at Daulatabad. Visit the Ellora Caves, a world heritage site. Lunch at the Taj Hotel, Aurangabad, followed by trips to Shivaji Museum, Aurangabad Caves (world heritage site), Bibi-Ka-Maqbara (Taj Mahal replica), and Paithani and Himroo showrooms. Dinner aboard the Deccan Odyssey as you head towards your the next destination.
Day 7 (Tuesday): Ajanta Caves - Nasik
Arrive at Jalgaon Station, have breakfast at Fardapur Resort. Board the AC luxury bus to T-junction, shift to the MSRTC eco-friendly bus and move to Ajanta Caves, Waghora Valley. Visit the famous murals - Bodhisattva Padmapani, Boddhisattva Avalokitesvara, 17 Jatakas, The Birth of the Buddha and The Thousand Buddhas. Break for a quick shopping excursion. Return to the railway station on AC luxury bus; move for Nasik. Arrive at Nasik; visit Gangapur dam, Sula Winery at Govardhan Park by luxury bus. Day 8 (Wednesday): Mumbai
